Hi,
I built 1.6.3 (and 1.6.6) from source using the following configure command:
./configure --prefix=/scratch/klongfel/svninstall/1.6.3 --without-berkeley-db --without-apxs --without-swig --with-gnome-keyring
I then run svn from the install area and always get the "can only be stored to disk unencrypted" dialogue. I have the gnome-keyring daemon running and know it works because I tested with the rpm binaries and it works.
I'm building from source because I want to put subversion in a central NFS area so installing CollabNetSubversion-client-1.6.6-1.i386.rpm is probably not an option. We also need different versions available.
I have narrowed this down to an issue with libsvn_auth_gnome_keyring-1.so. It appears to silently fail. Is there any way to debug why this is failing? I know this is the issue because if I copy libsvn_auth_gnome_keyring-1.so from the rpm it works. I just don't feel comfortable putting something like that in production. It would be good to be able to build from source and get this to work.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Kevin
