I am trying to include an external file in my tapestry html file as follows:
<Params name= xyz, value=abc>
the 'value' that I specify is a relative path to the file.(the file in question is either a .swf file or a class file)
These parameters are passed to show a flash movie or an applet.
When I initially access the page, it works fine but one I come bacl to this page from another page via Direct Link, the Applets and Flash movie just do not show up.
I guess the problem is because tapestry is not able to find the files specified and hence the files need to be made an asset and passed as parameter.
But the trouble is that if I make an asset and insert it, there are parsing problems because one tag can not be put inside another:
<Param name = xyz value=<span jwcid=@insert value="ognl.asset1">>
I have serached a lot about it on tapestry mailing list but still no clue.
If anyone else has successfully used Jfreecharts or Fusion Charts with tapestry please respond
