I realize that it is almost the break but I've been given the delightful
job of asking members of other school districts how they approach/solve
questions about equity and accessibility in your district. My district is
School District 83 (North Okanagan - Shuswap) and we are trying to find
ways to address these issues. We are fairly spread out as a district and
have small schools as well as large schools. Some of the outer schools
have 80 students while the Middle school has 650. I've drafted some
questions and would like feedback from anyone. I will be bringing your
suggestions back to my committee and we'll be making recommendations to
the school district. Thank you in advance!
If this is not the right forum, I apologize and welcome a suggestion about
where else to post.
My school district is _________
My school is elementary, middle, high school.
My school has ________ students.
What do you feel is adequate technology in the classroom for K-12?
Do your teachers feel they have adequate technology in their classroom to
deliver instruction?
Do students have access to technoloyg for learning?
What is your current situation for your school/district?
What do you feel is adequate access to a lab for a school?
Should this be based on size of student body?
Is there a lab per student ratio that is used by your district? If so, do
you feel this is sufficiant?
