Terroristi Made in USA
I fondamentalisti islamici sauditi appoggiano l'occupazione USA dell'Iraq
Michel Chossudovsky, www.globalresearch.ca - Freebooter
...Secondo i media occidentali, le stesse organizzazioni e fondazioni
religiose dell'Arabia Saudita e degli stati del golfo che hanno sostenuto i
talebani ed al Qaeda, compreso il "nemico numero uno" Osama bin Laden,
adesso sostengono i "terroristi" in Iraq.
Come Franco in "Guernica",
Baghdad Burning - Osservatorio Iraq
quella in corso a Nassiriya...
Fallujah: Shock and Awe
Editorial: The Spokesman no.84, Journal of the Bertrand Russell Peace
...Guernica was struck down out of a clear sky, and none of the victims
expected it. But Falluja was planned in great detail for months before the
culmination of the American election made it possible to risk the criticism
of domestic public opinion. Indeed the British allies were redeployed to
seal off what was eloquently described as the "rat run" from Falluja, in
spite of the consternatio! n in Scotland, whose Black Watch soldiers were
put at very dire risk. All that took time. It took time, up to two months,
to cut off the water supplies to Tall Afar, Samarra, and Falluja...
Occupation Diary: Raiding Mosques
Dahr Jamail, World Crisis Web
An eyewitness commentary to IPS through a U.S. raid on a Baghdad mosque
Friday gives a vivid picture of what a 'successful raid' can be like (...)
"Everyone was there for Friday prayers, when five Humvees and several
trucks carrying INGs entered," Abu Talat told IPS on `phone from within the
mosque while the raid was in progress. "Everyone starting yelling 'Allahu
Akbar' (God is the greatest) because they were frightened. Then the
soldiers started sh! ooting the people praying!"
Statement No. 4 from the Shura Council of Mujahideen
...The Mujahideen forces and until this very minute when publishing this
statement, control Mosul. Even worse! They are rounding up invasion forces
and their collaborators in their military camps preventing them from
putting their nose outside or moving around, and continue to inflict them
terrifying losses. We take this opportunity to declare to our Iraqi
brethren, Arabs, Muslims and the whole wide world that the initiative is
still within our hands! in this sacred battle and that Fallujah is and will
stay, as you always knew her, hard to be taken by the occupiers invaders
and their collaborators and the victory is near by the grace of God...
Iraqi Resistance Report for events of Thursday, 18 November 2004
Translated and/or compiled by Muhammad Abu Nasr, member editorial board The
Free Arab Voice.
In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Mecca time Thursday evening (8:30pm local
time) the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Fallujah reported that
Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded the US headquarters in the
governorate building in the al-Mu'allimin neighborhood of al-Fallujah as
well as concentrations of US troops in the as-Sakani neighborhood with 12 !
Grad and Katyusha rockets on Thursday...
Hell on earth
..."Whenever a neocolonial power--or a puppet politician like interim Iraqi
Premier Iyad Allawi--orders the widespread bombing of civilian areas, as in
Falluja, the rationale invoked is 'regrettable necessity,'" wrote Asia
Times commentator Pepe Escobar. "What is never mentioned is the real
objective: collective punishment." Collective punishment--in the most
horrific form imaginable--is exactly what the U.S. is carrying out in
Falluja. That's why the Pentagon has been using nightma! re weapons like
phosphorous rounds--which create a wall of fire that can't be extinguished
with water, and which literally melts the skin of anyone who comes in
contact with it...
"Why was our family bombed"
..."There are bodies strewn in the streets, and most families were forced
to bury the dead in their gardens," Hamid Flewa, a Falluja resident, told
the BBC. "I can see lines of bodies alongside the pavement." (...) For
Flewa and the other victims of the U.S. offensive, the horrible answer is
that they are being used to send a message to the rest of Iraq--that anyone
willing to stand up to the U.S. occupation will be crushed...
Killing Margaret Hassan as an Example
...I sincerely believe Margaret Hassan was murdered by counterinsurgency
forces comprised of American, British, or Israeli operativesand possibly a
combination of all three. As I have stated previously, I cannot provide
evidence of this, only a hunch based on a close study of past U.S. covert
actions and, as well, the unequivocal fact that the Strausscons have
declared war on the people of the Middle East and will do
anythingincluding egregious war crimes and st! ealing electionsin order
to realize their immoral plan...
Resistance looks beyond Fallujah
Syed Saleem Shahzad
...Command and control of a guerrilla war was mapped out well before the
invasion of the country last year. By February 2003, about 35,000 Fedayeen
(the paramilitary "men of sacrifice" of Saddam Hussein) had been trained
for urban warfare. And Saddam also restored ties with Salafi-based Islamic
seminaries in Fallujah, Islamic Sufi groups in Tamim, and coordinated a
strategy under which these groups agreed to coordinate with Ba'ath Party
U.N.: Estimated 250,000 Fled Fallujah
ALEXANDER G. HIGGINS, Associated Press Writer
Relief organizations estimate up to 250,000 Iraqis have fled Fallujah to
nearby villages and Baghdad, but the groups have not been able to assess
the refugees' needs because of fighting around the former insurgent
bastion, a U.N. official said Thursday...
IRAQ: High levels of radioactive pollution seen in the south
Iraqi environmental scientists investigating radioactive pollution around
the southern city of Basra are finding alarmingly high levels of radiation
left by the use of depleted uranium (DU) in recent wars. But given the lack
of a permanent, elected government in Iraq and poor security, they are
finding it difficult to get permission to remove contaminated material amid
growing instances of cancer and birth defects in the area...
Executing Injured Prisoners in Falluja
...In a badly damaged mosque, a US soldier has indeed shot dead from a
close range, execution-style, an injured person who, according to the
journalist himself, was severely injured, unarmed and did not pose any
imminent threat. In fact, several other Iraqis were reportedly found in
Falluja with single-bullet marks in their heads indicating a similar fate.
It can be accurately concluded that US soldiers are still committing war
crimes in Iraq with frightening ! ease and nauseating impunity...
Iraqi Physician Confirms US Chemical Weapons Use In Fallujah
Omar al-Faris, JUS
Anger that is seething throughout Iraq and the world over the assault of
Fallujah turn to rage yesterday as an Iraqi physician came forward to
confirm reports of the use of banned chemical weapons in Fallujah. Speaking
on the condition of anonymity to the Panorama radio station, the physician
said he had just examined two dead bodies and confirmed that the victims
died of banned chemical weapons. The physician found no evidence! of bullet
wounds, shrapnel, or any objects penetrating the bodies...
US Losses In Fallujah to Overweight Victory: Expert
Hadi Yahmid, IOL Correspondent
Washington will win the military battle in the western Iraqi city of
Fallujah but its strategic looses will certainly outweigh such a victory,
said a French strategic expert. Branding the US practices against the
Fallujah residents as "state terrorism," Pascal Boniface, Director of the
Institute for International and Strategic Studies in Paris, expected the
onslaught to further fan anti-US feelings in the entire Islamic world...
Fighting in Fallujah ongoing, Mosul attack planned
A US Marine and an Iraqi soldier have been killed in Fallujah as 17 other
people died in attacks elsewhere in Iraq and marine intelligence warned
that the insurgency would grow despite massive offensives to crush the
rebels. The fighting comes as Iraqi and US force prepare to an assault on
the northern city of Mosul and a US Marine intelligence report warns that
any significant troop withdrawal from Fallujah would strengthen the
Fallujans pay the price of liberation
Dr Muhamad Ayash al-Kubaisi
When a nation's identity, existence and dignity is put at risk, the
sacrifice required is far more than the lives of a group of fighters, and
that is why Falluja has chosen to carry the flag of resistance in Iraq, in
the clear knowledge it may be wiped out (...) But the inhabitants of this
great city wanted to send a message to decision makers in the US that
coexisting with the occupiers is not possible. They wanted to tell US
officials that it is ! easier for Fallujans to sacrifice their lives than
to shake hands with occupiers; it is easier for them to see their houses
razed to the ground than see an occupying soldier enjoy them...
Special Report on the Trial of President Saddam Hussein - November Update
Dr. Curtis F.J. Doebbler,
member of the Legal Team representing Saddam Hussein
The United States government and their Interim Iraqi government that it
installed in Baghdad continues to refuse access to former Iraqi President
in violation of his due process rights under international, Iraqi, and
United States law. To challenge the illegality of these actions, an
Application for Habeas Corpus has been filed with the United States !
Supreme Court by the former President. This filing alleges that the United
States is violating its own Constitution as well as it military law and
international law. The filing recognizes that the United States aggression
against the people of Iraq is illegal and that the occupation is illegal.
It focuses, however, on the illegality of the treatment being provided the
