Hello all,

For a long time I treated Internet and email security issues on the
basis of the Needle in the haystack theory, believing that there is so
much information and traffic going on out there, that probabilities fall
on the side of going unnoticed. However, my communications and those of
close relatives may have been recently spied on, so to be on the safe
side I have stepped up security, cleaning my computer, changing
passwords, installing firewalls, and installing GNU PG and Enigmail as well.

I have gone through the whole installation process, generated my keys
and Hansen's Quick Start Guide suggests testing Enigmail by sending an
email to friendly folks into PGP. So this is where I am.

I am not sure how the mailing list works. Ho do you look up something or
participate in discussions.
