That does not alter the truth.
You were proved an idiot then and things have not changed.

The Adventures of Stevie #210
These stories were told to me by friends and other people. Some of them
are true. Some of them are only partly true. Some of them should have
been true. LOL
My first post about Stevie ("Call me Stephen!") was when he was 12 and
in summer camp and was told by another camper. This was from a time
before computers would fit on a desk and when people communicated with
friends in other countries by actual letters sent through the postal
service. When children did this those friends were called "penpals".
Carlos is Stevie's penpal in Argentina and knows English. This is a
fictional contrivance to enable Stevie to tell us his stories because
he isn't here in person. I think.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Stevie's school is for gifted children who don't fit in regular schools.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stevie is 14 in this story, in the Winter of year 5 of special school,
after the new year.
The Adventures of Stevie #210 "Another Person in Trouble"
I told the group, "We are about to have company. The first chocolate
eater. Alone, naked, and not in good shape. He may be asking for help."
There were no suggestions on what to do with him before he got to us,
so I didn't ask if we should port him to a hospital in the city. We
didn't know what kind of medical system British Honduras had. He
staggered into our clearing, and would have fallen, if I hadn't held
him up with a 4th hand. Tomba put a blanket on the ground, and I guided
him to it, which he dropped onto. He was cut and scraped all over from
running through the jungle, even on the bottoms of his feet. His face
looked like it had been punched a few times, but all his teeth were
still there. I examined him. I reported, "He has a lump on the back of
his head, and has a very mild concussion. No skull fracture. The
smallest finger on his left hand is sprained. He has been hit hard in
the nuts some hours ago, and is still in pain from that. There are some
bruised ribs. The middle toe on his right foot is jammed and
dislocated. It must have happened very recently, or he couldn't have
made it to us." I said to him, "I'm Stephen. What is your name?" He
mumbled "Nigel. I'm Nigel." I said "Are you here as an enemy, or as a
friend?" He said "Friend. FRIEND!" I said "As a friend, do I have your
permission to help you heal from your injuries?" He said Yes, yes,
PLEASE!" I put him to sleep.
I said "I think we suspect what might have happened. It's my fault,
and my responsibility. There is something else. He has very high
psychic potential." Tomba said "I have a new brother, to share being
rescued with." I said "That about sums it up. The Temple will accept
him, I'm sure." Tomba nodded. I said "Because his injuries are my
responsibility, I can and must heal them completely, which I can't do,
ordinarily. Then I will be responsible for his new life, because I have
changed it dramatically without his consent. Tomba, will you assist?"
He came over and held Nigel's leg, while I reduced the toe's
displacement. Then I sat lotus next to Nigel, and held my hands out
over his body. I went into my mind and hooked my energy to the 4th, and
sent waves of converted healing energy into him. After a time which was
an eternity of a few minutes, it was over, and Nigel was healed. I
cried. It was my fault. I had made him an outcast. They all came and
hugged me, even the professor, even though he didn't really know what
was going on. I said "Now what do we do with him? He needs clothes,
although, to a nudist like me, he looks fine as he is." Chad grinned
and said, "Definitely." We smiled. I said "What would Wanda say?" Chad
said "Bring him, that's what."
I said "Should we let him stay here with us until we leave, and then
take him to the Temple? Or send him to the Temple soon after he wakes
up?" Tomba said "Here until we leave. Going to the Temple this early
would be too much of a shock to him." I said "I agree. If that happens,
will you guide him while he is here? He needs your ethical sense,
before we can help him with his psychic abilities. His third eye is
almost all the way open. The rest will happen soon." Tomba said "Yes, I
will. I see the necessity of it." Pete said "Then that's settled. Take
care of it. The rest of us will be actually doing something we came
here to do." We hugged and kissed Pete. He tried to resist, but gave in
with a smile. Tomba and I carried Nigel into the big tent, and put him
on a cot, and covered him with a blanket. We sat next to him, and I
woke him up. I said "Don't be afraid. You came to us as a friend, and
so we are friends. Now, please tell us why you came."
Nigel was feeling around himself under the blanket, and said, "I am
all healed." He exclaimed, "It's a miracle! You really are Gods." I
said "No, we are not Gods. Tomba here is a kind of Priest, but we are
not Gods, or holy people, even though we try to be good to everybody.
We can do some unusual things, because we have some special abilities,
but they are based on science, not on superstition." He sat up and
pulled the blanked around him. I said "How old are you? He said "Just
14." I said "Where are your parents?" He said "Dead." I said "Then who
takes care of you?" He said "Nobody, really. My uncle is the the man
the sword spanked. He took me with him after my parents died, but I was
useless to him and his gang, which he always reminded me of." I said
"Why did he think you were useless?" He said "Because I was a bad
fighter. I couldn't shoot straight. He didn't know it was because I
didn't want to. I never wanted to hurt anybody." I said "Now, please
tell us why you came to us." He said, "After we ran away from you,
something very strange happened to us. We felt some very exciting
things. Embarrassing things. I felt them more than the others, and I
couldn't help myself. I took off all my clothes and did some things
things I shouldn't have. The others did it too, but I did it more. Then
we went to sleep, and didn't wake up until the morning. I was the only
one who was stark naked. My uncle saw that and remembered what he had
done when we had those feelings, and took out his rage on me. I think
he would have beaten me to death, if the others hadn't held him back
long enough for me to escape, but I hurt so much I almost didn't. He
came after me, but stopped after a few minutes, and yelled to me he
would kill me if he ever saw me again." He stopped. Tomba was hugging
I said "Why did you come here, and not some place else?" He said "I
had no place to go. Nobody wants a chap like me. I have no money and no
home, and I can't do anything. I'm nothing. Worthless. Here you would
help me or kill me cleanly. So I came." I cried and hugged him, and
said, "You are NOT worthless! Don't you ever say that again. You can do
much more than you think, and if you let us, you will find that out. If
you want to be with us, we will give you a home and a real life." We
could sense his disbelief. Tomba said "Believe him. I was in a worse
situation than you, and was facing certain death from my captor, with
no possibility of escaping. I had no family, no skills and very little
education, so even if I could have escaped, I had no future. Stephen
rescued me. Now I have a home, an education, a real future, and a great
life with loving friends. I have more than I could have dreamed of, and
I want to share my good fortune with you. If you let me. If you let
us." I said "Why not? What have you got to lose?" He said "Nothing
comes without a price." I said "Wise of you. Yes there is a price,
which we all gladly pay. We work hard. Very hard. For good reasons.
Real work, not robbing and killing people. With us, you will learn
amazing things, which takes effort. Nothing good comes without work,
not even sexual things. You don't have to decide your entire future
now, but you do have to decide if you will stay with us while we are
here on this mission. We will accept you here, if you agree to keep
everything about us a secret, and if you promise not to be afraid of
us. You don't even have to help us with our work, but I think you are
not the kind who would like to sit around and do nothing for very
I said "Here are some clothes. Or if you like, you don't have to wear
anything. I don't know about the older man with us, who is our guest,
but we don't care about clothes. In my home, we don't wear any, and my
friends out there don't either, when they visit me. Oh, and don't worry
about insects and dangerous animals. We don't allow them in our camp,
or where we are working. We are going outside to eat and work now. When
you decide, you can come out and tell Tomba, who will assist you.
Either way, you can keep the clothes and sandals, and if you leave, we
will give you a pack of food and a knife, too." We gave him some of the
food Race had just ported into the other tent with, and we went out to
eat with the others, and then to work, which was still putting in
stakes. We helped, with the professor directing us. He was having the
time of his life, and I liked that a lot. He saw me grinning at him,
and grinned right back, and waved. A few minutes later, Nigel came out,
with pants on, but no shirt, and said to Tomba, "I want to stay." I
nodded and smiled, from across the cleared area outside the camp. Nigel
noticed that, which Tomba saw, who told him, "Yes, he heard that. One
of his special abilities. So don't yell at him close by, or you will
hurt his sensitive hearing." Soon it was almost time for supper. Race
went to a restaurant to get it, by walking into the big tent, and
porting. Italian, this time. Nigel noticed him go in, but couldn't see
him in there, which was puzzling to him. Race came back with the food,
and father. That made Nigel jump a little, when they walked out of the
tent. He knew there was no room in there for the food or father to
Race said "Go ahead and start without me. Dr. Knot wants to have a
talk with me." He went back into the tent and ported. While we were
still eating, Race ported to the middle of the camp, and yelled to me,
"My father agrees to everything, without reservation!" Then he ran at
me. I had just enough time to put my plate down before he bowled me
over, with hugging and kissing. After a minute I managed to get out a
weak, "Help!" They all laughed, except Nigel, who was looking upset. I
stood up and and he said, "What are you, a bunch of bloody queers?" I
said in a commanding voice, "HOLD it right there! You will speak
civilly here, or you will leave. You have asked for our hospitality,
and we have given it. More, we have invited you to be with us when we
go home. You will treat each of us with the respect and kindness which
you would like to have from us. Do you understand?" He was too shocked
by the change he saw in me, to respond. I said "For your information,
neither Race nor I am homosexual, however we do have them, and many
other kinds of good people, POLITE people, on our mission teams, at our
school, as our support members, and as our good friends. We do not
discriminate in any way regarding sexual preferences, or regarding
ethnic background, race, nationality, religion, or economic or social
status, or even past criminality, which you should be grateful for.
What we value are good will and intelligence. We do not use bad
language to each other. We treat each other as real friends."
I said "You have read the Bible?" He nodded. I said "Then you should
know Jesus kissed and hugged his Disciples. It was common practice in
his time and place. It still happens in many countries and cultures,
men kissing men. But not in England. Something wrong with their stiff
upper lip, I suppose. Our customs are different from what you are used
to, but get used to them you will, if you stay with us. Race kissed me
because he loves me like more than a brother, as I love him, because we
in our group are like a special family, and have bonds of shared
danger, of shared minds and emotions, that most people have never
experienced, or can experience. You can be a part of that, or not, as
you choose, but with us you WILL be polite. Do you understand?" He
nodded. I said "You must say it." He said "I will be polite. I'm sorry
I acted out of line." I said "Accepted. Let Race know if you have any
food preferences for tomorrow. We don't know why, but he actually likes
to get the food for us. Oh, and Nigel, meet my father." Father went
over to shake Nigel's hand, who was still a little shocked by my abrupt
personality changes, and that the other boys thought nothing of it. I
was a little amused by that, and I could tell so was Chad, who signaled
to me "well done." I said in mind talk to him, +I was thinking my roast
of him was more like medium rare+ and I disconnected. Chad almost
choked on his food, trying not to laugh hysterically.
